I'm getting ready to put my MR-4 back up, I don't like the copper lug on the gamma match where it's a press fit on to the SO-239 connector (pin). When you press the copper lug on the SO-239 pin It's too close to the SO-239 connector bracket (RF Arcing), and it seems like it could fall off easy. Is there any better way to feed the coax from the SO-239 bracket to the gamma match? Thanks...73's

i dont know if it will fit for your application , but i use a mobile stud mount for my 239/gamma connection .

I didn't even think about that man, thanks for the idea, is the stud 3/8". Its been so long since I ran a mobile I forgot the stud size...

Thanks homerbb lol, I really didn't even think about going that route on the mobile antenna stud. Thanks again man for the help 73's.....

When mine broke I took a small brass bolt, number 8 or 10, and soldered it into the end of the SO-239 connector and then used nuts and star washers to secure it to the gamma arm.
