Why would you have them deleted?

It is not their fault they were sold radios that went bunk.

This is old news Lib , and Forum management asked for it to stop a long time ago. I was just beginning to forget about it myself. It's a dead dog and IM personally sick and tired of hearing it myself. Deleting is one thing BANNING is another. There comes a time in a mans life where they need to take a chill pill and move on and get on with the business of living.

I think I remember what you are talking about Switch, when you say management asked for it to stop. If I remember correctly, which I may not, Happy Hammer had said that Justin was leaving the forum for good and everyone should pretty much stop commenting on him. Someone called Hammer on that and he agreed that type of favortism or censorship was not what this forum should be about. Besides, Justin hadn't left for good, he was back to posting just four days later. I think that thread was posted in the old feedback section.

If Justin were going to be off limits, it should work both ways. Delete everything bad AND everything good. Does it really seem fair that Master Cheif and others get to tell of their good experiences with Justin while myself and others don't get to tell of our bad experiences? There are members who do not like clipping radios, then you come along and tell your experience in doing so that does not agree with theirs. Should your post be deleted or you be banned because your experience does not match theirs? I don't think so. I think we should be able to tell and hear both sides.

I'll not be surprised if these things get deleted. It has happened before. I doubt that the person who deletes it will say that it is because of the posts of bad experiences with Justin. They will probably say that porn had been posted or the posts were off topic. I think those would just be excuses. Plenty of threads go off topic without getting deleted, and the single post of porn can be deleted without deleting the whole thread. I hope I'm wrong and there is not selective enforcement, but my experience tells me otherwise.

I'm not trying to pick on you Switch. I'm just trying to point out the inequities I see. Is it only ok with you if we all post positive comments? What if I say I don't like a Cobra 18, that would be negative, is that ok? Or maybe you don't like us commenting on our experiences with people. If I said that Kale has been very helpful to me, that would be commentary of my personal experience with a member, is that ok? I'm sorry you are sick and tired of us giving our opinions and telling of our experiences, but, as you have told people who didn't like your posts, if you don't like what we have to say, don't read our posts.

I agree with you Hillbilly , I really do and I know what your talking about here. IM just a guest in somebodies else's house and they can run it any God Damned way they feel fit. Weather you and I like it or not. It's very obvious to me that the dude had a fan base around here and that included management , I spend a lot of time around here day in and day out for the last 2 years , trust me man , I read the hand writting on the walls around here. The kissy kiss kiss and the little butt pats , but you know what man , it really doesn't have anything to do with me directly unless I choose to let it ........and I try not to. I would usually just get shot down if I did anyway. IM not one that floats around every CB radio Forum on the Net , I pretty much just stick with this one. To much Forum politics and what not as far as IM concerned . I honestly do not like the way this situation was handled but what more could I personally have done about it ? I personally didn't have a beef with the dude myself , BUT , I did have business with a hand full of people that did and you bet your ass I felt for them , but it really had nothing to do with me directly. Yeah , sure , I expressed myself on the matter , but it didn't change a damned thing other then to fuel the fires within , The only thing I saw and read loud and clear was that management said enough was enough and they didn't want to hear it anymore. Was it fair Hillbilly ? Like I said dude , this ain't my house , IM just a guest in it , and If I don't like the way it's run , hopefully I wont let the Forum door hit me in the ass on the way out. The way I see it , a lost came to me on this situation as well , The Forum feedback section has been gone for months now and I tend to do a little business with folks from time to time and good feedback is always a plus. I didn't mean to offend you Hillbilly or any body else for that matter , it's just old news that should be put to rest. Peace

Think about guys, if the members that were not happy with work done by CE had not been allowed to post here on this forum, would any of you have known different?
It is not fair to portray the "forum management" As part of a fan club, there are members of "management" here that have had issues with work done.
Some people got good service/work done and some did not, and both sides got to post it on the forum.
Things started to turn the forum into the battle ground for a retail problem with a company, not the forum.
You yourself said It's a dead dog and IM personally sick and tired of hearing it.
Frankly, a lot of people were just as tired of it as well.
This post is still here, no one has canned it, just dont let it become another flame war zone

Tim has allways been more than fair with the content here.
You have to admit that there is more freedom to post here than a lot of radio related forums on the Net, especially when compaired to retail based websites.
This being a private forum allows Mole to keep it real. He sits in the front office.
