Well got a new f150 and the body is aluminum so im not sure if a roof mount would work on this. And besides that looks like pure hell to take down the head liner...Any suggestions??

You reminded me of the time I rented an F-150. Was planning on using my trusty Wilson 5000 lag mount ony trip. Uh, no sticky! Lol. No radio on that trip. :/
I would Google mounts for the aluminum trucks. I know a ham guy in my local club has HF in his F-150, but don't know what his solution was. Breedlove makes great mounts, as mentioned above. Good luck!

Drop the dome light and peek underneath. Hopefully it will be a single layer of sheetmetal. If it is a single layer, drill a hole. Quick 5 minute job without dropping headliner.

Just becareful about aluminum corrosion, I think when a certain metal and bare aluminium make contact , then corrosion will occur. Might be steel and aluminium react, Im sure someone will chime in.
A Wilson 5000 drill through roof mount works great on extended cab aluminum F150s. With CB popularity swirling around the bowl, I wouldn't drill a hole in the roof of a $40,000 truck.

Did you check the Breedlove mounts web link I posted? Below is a pic showing a front bed rail mounting bracket. Then all you have to do is drill a hole under the floor matting or see if you have a firewall knockout to get the coax out and under the truck and run it up between the cab and truck bed.
I have a tool box with my 102 on it. It just hits everything... Yes breedlove has some great mounts.
That they do. I use their Pedestal SO-239 mount for my screwdriver antenna, it's a rock solid SS steel mount and worth the $50.
Their stake mounts are nice and easy to install if you don't mind not having the antenna installed in the center of the vehicle. I have a new truck myself and it's understandable not wanting to drill holes in it or take the headliner apart.
As Tallman suggested, the toolbox is a great way to mount an antenna especially if you were going to put a tool box on this truck anyway.
If wanting to use a 102 whip and have a lower profile, There is a ball mount option that will work for using a 102 whip,
Or use a Breedlove bed mount like this,
You're on track by permanent mounting of the antenna. Mag-mounts should be avoided except for temporary usage.
