My first radio

Ok a little more info here, I forgot to add. The Gonset G12 Tube CB Radio sucked a lot of battery current thats why I had a battery charger charging when I was operating. I had to take the battery out of Dads truck to run it. So that meant the battery had to be reinstalled back into Dads truck before he went to work the next morning. And the battery acid eat a large hole in the carpet from boiling over, yeah I got told about that.

Dear ol Dad never said any thing about it, but I know he pushed the truck out of the driveway to roll down hill to start the truck due to the battery being to low to start. I am sure he thought it was good hobby for me to get into, thanks Dad!

Yeah, martyrdom re acts concerning one’s children becomes a comedic routine as an unstated competition with ones wife. A leg-puller.

In her presence one addresses the family dog regarding HIS sacrifices fo’ the chirren as a Q&A series:

“You don’t say, Bowser! Why, just the other day . . . . “.

back in 1975 got a Lafayette Comstat 23. I f u turned the channel selector just right you could get what is now channels 24 and 25 lol. Good old radio.

Ha-ha-ha...:ROFLMAO:...many times I started talking on 22A and found out I was now on 22B due to a bump, or vibration. At first I thought something went wrong with the radio because no one was coming back to me. Once I figured it out I'd just nudge it a little to get back where I was supposed to be.
