cheap chinese no-name junk capacitors with dubious manufacturing techniques.

basically the quality of caps you would find inside a walmart wall-wart.

Mike does a good job with the kits. he has been selling them for years now. never bought one from him but every one that gets them has been able to revive a radio with his kits.
