Need help with dak 9 no rf power

Sounds like the transistor is not heating up anymore, so that is good. Next step, if you have weak signal, is to perhaps perform a TX alignment if possible, and see if output power comes up any. I do know that the tube "final amp" stage is prone to problems, so it may be possible that the radio is fine up to the tube section.

Just wanted to give a update, radio is WORKING!! Went through, performed tx alignment and found bad C714 trimmer shorted could get it to work off and on... had a few close to the correct size and adjusted and holy smoke she is alive... as always, thanks for all the help couldn’t do with out this wedsite!!!
