Nothing for the part or pulling it. It's just sitting on a shelf in my shed with other donor stuff I will probably never use so I am happy seeing it get used. I get home at 5am, I will pull it then.
I'll let you know what shipping is tomorrow when I go to the post office, but I don't imagine it will be much. PM me a shipping address when you get time.
I got bad news. I got this one a little too warm with the hot air and a pin pulled right out of it breaking the wire. I've never had that happen before.

Hold on a minute. An amateur mistake led to an opportunity. I've always wanted to try re-winding one of those, so I jammed the pulled pin back in, carefully took the turns off writing down the winding pattern, and found some of the same size wire from a relay I previously cracked open. It is rewound and reassembled.
I touched up the solder on the pins a little, camera showed a couple that were a little light. I'll send it off if you still want to give it a try.
I certainly do, I've thought of rewinding those before but never seem to have the time or patience. I bet the rewound coil is just as good as the original.
The only thing that has me baffled is the turns ratio. The schematic and circuit makes it seem like a step up should go there, but the split winding was 5+5 and the other winding was 11 turns. The center pin was not used on the galaxy, so a turns ratio of 10:11. Not what I expected there.
I should have it in the mail within the hour.
I agree, maybe I will try my hand on rewinding the blown one, after detox from caffeine, of course, and looking for a transformer to yank some enameled wire from. At least this one doesn't have a capacitor to deal with.
If you get into that particular one, this is what I found and would be curious what you find.
The one I mailed was a two-part ferrite. A ferrite sleeve that goes over the coil and the slug inside it. The coil form had five divisions for windings, lets call the one closest to the pins winding slot 1 and slot 5 being at the top. The outer winding was the center tapped one going from an outside leg, 2 turns in slot 2, 3 turns in slot 3, brought back to the center pin, then 3 turns in slot 4 and 2 turns in slot 5, finishing at the third pin. The untapped winding is the inside winding with 3 turns in slot 1, and 2 turns in the remaining 4 slots for a total of 11 turns.
Well, I removed the thing from the board easy enough. Removing the case and ferrite ring was another story. This one was full of glue, between everything. Pulled a pin out while removing the cover and broke the ferrite pulling it off. If I can get the glue dissolved I will check the turns and layout, but it looks like what you have.

@ Geoexplorer69:Coax question. I just put up a new Sirio monsoon base antenna with 100’ of rg8u coax testing with myMFJ antenna analyzer shows 1.4 swr at 26.965mhz and a 1.1 at 27.405 mhz . When I checked the ohms it’s steady a 30 ohms across the entire bandwidth.
