Does anyone know if the Cobra 29 limited model that came out with the crome finish & the blue channel & meter lights are any good; Cause I was thinking of getting one to replace my 29 NW/WX version?

i just ordered one off ebay once a month or so a guy sells 2 i got it for 103can. with shipping i dont need but i though what the heck....if i dont like ill sell it around here for more !
That Why I'm interested in it It's got the Blue stuff I like; In the other forum board I had picture of my 148 GTL decked out with all the knobs blue plus the channel, meter & the Transmit led; Cause that's what I like
If you mean come with them, no, no radio that i know of comes with nitro knobs EXCEPT the magnums.
i didnt say any radio comes with them they look cool but prolly not worth it and a pain in the ass took hook up maybe ill try on one of my radios !
That's preciselly the thing; They cost roughly $55 to buy the nitro knobs; not including the blue meter light, the transmit led light & installation. I had extra cash to burn so I figured why not. Looks cool though =^)
The 29 Chrome is still available from one distributor that I know of, and yes, it is a good radio. I like the new board lay-out. They seem to be able to peek out a bit higher than the older design, too.
To each his own, I'm not opposed to anything flashy but,.......I don't want to get the attention of the truckstop thieves ! If it looks too flashy they might want to borrow that lit-up radidiio !
