Wish the release was a little sooner. I’m itching to buy a 6666.
I think I've learned to wait until the second or third run. It seems they've caught all the bugs and upgraded where needed by then.
So for me it'll probably be towards the end of the year before getting one.

I missed it too, not sure if the radio appearance is any different or it's just internally different.

That is the "AT-6666 II" with remote head and bluetooth - and yes, it's coming (but still not for a while yet - it might even look different to that photo. TBC! ).
And the new AT-6666 is actually called the AT-6666PRO which 'looks' basically the same as the current AT-6666.

Found this earlier today and they're calling it the 6666 PRO. I see they finally changed the mic design if this is in fact what will be released. 80 watts MO POWA! After my original set of quad 6 have done so well, I'm anxiously awaiting for this one.
On Simon's site, is it the same one you had put up a while back?

Not much different in appearance aside from an orange key but that's fine because it's not a bad looking radio. The added functions are great and if the mic pictured is immune to the classic pfffff sound the original had, we're golden.
