Southeastern CT on L.I. Sound
I have been lurking anonymously on worldwidedx and decided to register.

Although I was previously interested in amateur radio, it never took off. Years later here I am.

I am scoping out the exam review sessions that are offered nearby and have committed myself to move forward.

I just put in for a membership in the ARRL and ordered the license manual.

I live in southeastern Connecticut just about on Long Island Sound. I just missed the local club's monthly meeting getting ready for the storm that came through.

As time goes by I'll check back in.

Welcome to the forum and wish you the best in obtaining your license.

Welcome to the forum and the wonderful world of Amateur radio. It can be fun making contacts be it local or around the world. And as for the test it's truly easy. The youngest Ham was 4 years of age. And we had a 12 year old pass his Extra class last summer missing only 2 questions. And as I always let them taking the test know if I can do it anybody can. Good Luck to you. You may want to look at the practice test.
