New MACO BA1 Balcony Antenna

I don't even know how to work one other than keep turning the knobs until I get right. What is the tune and load for?
Maco 91 Antenna Matcher Tuner

Looks mainly. TUNE and LOAD should only be on a tube amplifier and not a tuner. Usually it is labeled INPUT and OUTPUT like Palstar or R-TUNE and X-TUNE like the old Kenwood tuners or even TRANSMITTER MATCH and ANTENNA MATCH like Heath and others but never have I seen TUNE and LOAD on a tuner. They are simply variable capacitors that work together with a coil to create a variable impedance matching device that allows you to compensate for a bad SWR by making your radio see a good match even though you still have a crappy antenna match. Kind of like looking at the world through rose colored glasses. everything is still bad but you just don't see it.

Ok I checked on the Gamma match power limits and it will take legal limit or 1,500 watts no problem so thats great!!! **Jump_im**

Archer antenna matcher. It has no markings on which coax to hook up to which so-239
Fixed a broken solder tab that goes to ground on the matcher. It works good now and tuned in to the freq I'm using.
P.S. i got my K40 magmount on the roof cause I ain't putting my Vector 400 up til after I move

Where did you buy this antenna from?
I looked all over the net and the only company I found that had it listed is A-1 Telecom. They said I can't buy direct from them since I don't run a CB shop lol.
Maybe its just so new none of the other companies have added it to there websites yet.

I have an account with A1 Telecom and if need be I can find out shipping costs if you send me your zip code and if your interested I can have you send a money order to me for the amount and I can have them delivered or drop shipped right to your doorstep. I can also do a search and find another distrubutor if you feel better to order through someone else. Im also getting another of these for field day for our county amateur radio club.

I recieved my second AB1 Balcony antenna this afternoon now we have one for our Amateur Radio Club for field days!! I wont even have to look at the assembly instruction for putting this one together. Im going to assemble this one and get it all marked for easy re-assembly as I did for my other one. I cant wait for the club to see and play with this antenna.

Usually I contact a1 telecom by their email link with a request about a certain product and they email me back with a list of retailers
P.S. I checked on those retailers and they don't have it yet. Thanks Tony V225 for offering. I'll wait.

Going only by the descriptions (fighting 'stick') I would have to assume they were vertical antennas. It appears that they are proud of that machined tip... After that, it's just advertising.
