New not so proud owner of an IC-7000

can we get the call sign of said seller and maybe a site where it was bought? pm me if you want.
Naw, no PM's.

A valid complaint should be open.

Sellers of defective gear need to be identified, especially those that make no attempt to correct things. Being non-responsive points to a person that knowingly sold it as such.

Disclosing the identity of a less than honest person would likely protect anyone from a similar transaction in the future.

A similar heads up to FDtrucker might have saved him from this displeasure.

I don't want to directly give out his name and call.
I need to stop being so nice.

UPDATE:
He did email me back and wanted to know why I opened the radio and played radio technician. Because I opened it up the radio was mine. And didn't like my "tone". This guys a gem..

I have never been so insulted. His email has been driving me crazy all night. Sorry folks....
I dont mind giving out his call now I gave him too many chances.
w4mlo is his call. Sold on EHAM
BEWARE ALL OF THIS HAM!!!!

Was there any insurance on the shipping ? It would be a stretch but a damaged in shipping claim might work to get it fixed.

I just sold my IC-7000 with some extras and the buyer couldnt be happier.. But then again I wouldnt sell a broken radio ..

sorry to hear.....

Man, FD.....sorry to hear about the bad experience! I hate when a seller "doesnt disclose" what all is going on with a radio and such. I sold a yeasu dual band a while back that I couldnt get to work consistently for some reason.... I was open and honest with the guy from the get go, he bought the radio anyways and was happy to try and get it going. Could have been real "easy" to tell him there was nothing wrong with it but I would never think of doing something like that. Makes you shake your head and wonder sometimes.
On a side note, how is the 7000 other than the problem you are having with 2m? I am upgrading my ticket next month to General and was looking at the 7000.....
