New Radio - Magnum S3 350

Granted that there are many stations on there with big power but I have cut Big Papa Pump off with my mobile doing 1k pep and boy was he mad.

I have made many contacts on the Bowl running Mobile, all about conditions.
766, Local Boy, Mod Squad, Prime Minister, Gabby Girl,1-800-Toll Free,......and guys that were just there.

Another CB Myth........Takes a even grand to get on the band.
A good radio will get you on the band if mother nature got your back.

sadly even a good radio don't guarantee nothing, only thing that guarantees success on 11m or any other band is a good to excellent antenna system, the type of radio is irrelevant and is only as good as the antenna system its plugged into.

yeah, if it had bipolar transistors driving 4-2290's. a boxful of erf2030's is a nightmare waiting to happen.....unless you key it up on SSB. then you instantly have junk.
stick with an original 40 watt S9. they can sound good, and a nice basic dx1600 on the other side of a 250hdv works real nice.
