Nothing on AM for days now

I have that pile driver interference also. Which is a good way to describe it. I have it on the 11 meter base. I also have it on the mobil untill i get away from the house. Then its gone. Pull back into the driveway and there it is again. What is this?

More than likely its a bad transformer or connection. The pwr company can snoop it. We had a bad one, it got replaced after Hurricane Harvey, it feed our property. There are some that look neglected behind us that might be causing it. Those feed six houses to the south.

With some help you can find the source by just banging the pole with a sledge to see if it interrupts the noise. There's snoop loop the Power Co. uses. Take an AM hand held radio w/ antenna and snoop. Place the radio on an off station that picks up the noise. Can also use the AM radio in you vehicle.

Good hunting.

Wow, it looks like we haven't even hit the bottom yet. The bottom is still a few years away.......

Had to read that twice and go to the link. Unfortunately that is only tracking the current through Jan. Hopefully it does not continue. I'm missing my Redneck Social Media App. Imagine if the internet faded like this. Melenials would call it a crisis, could not function, or communicate.

Yeah, if the internet did this they would riot.

Was working today with the bench station on and shortly after 2:00 PM central time the scan stopped on the bowl with the skip rolling for a couple of hours. Usually I get annoyed by the chatter but after such a long period of nothing I have to say it was pleasant to hear until mother nature shut it off. Maybe 38 lsb will bring something in tonight and just maybe I can even catch a wave right!
