...If you go on youtube and search for monitoring you ham radio from W2AEW you can see this circuit in action. Here is the part list and schematic. Very simple to build.

RT, looking at your schematic it looks like your voltage divider is upside down. You have a 1:10 ratio instead of 100:1. The 690k should be 690. See attached screen grab from w2aew's YouTube.

You are absolutly correct. Good eyes there bro. I just checked my sampler and it is correct. Guess that is what I get for drawing something from memory.
