I recently "bit the bullet" and won the bid on EBAY for a 1977 Maco / Brute Seventy-Five. Had it converted to work on 11 meters and it works like a champ. With 2.5 watts input from my Galaxy DX2547, the MFJ-870 meter indicates about 180 watts out. But......a few neighbors had noticed my recently installed IMAX 2000 and they came to the conclusion that I must be the cause of their TVI. Being that the age group of majority of my neighbors is 70+ years old (including me), I decided that I will / can do DX barefoot with four-watts.
