I just heard from Tonya, his daughter and they do not feel he will be with us much longer.
I called him just a week ago and he was resting and I did not get to speak with him....

I shall miss hearing Old Grandpa on the radio, calling out to the world to make contacts with members of this forum.......

He commented on one of my antenna projects not long ago and wanted some info. I never heard from him after that. I was wondering what was going on with him, as I knew of his past tribulations with health issues. I only heard him one or two times on the air here in NY and might have worked him.

I am a fan of his work and will miss him. I believe, it is he and his writings, that brought me here.
