That amp is rated in input power at 1500 watts... And I bet it pulls about that, peak, from the wall socket when your pumpin 800 out.

I have recently purchased a PAL Electronics 750B Ttube amplifier. I have had a great deal of trouble finding any info of any kind on this amp. Has anyone seen, owned, or heard of this amp. Any info would be appreciated.
73's to all.

"The hammies" Come on now. At least recognize that an amateur radio operator put time to study in order to use the radio service. The hammies let the sweep tube amps die years ago. Them guys know what's going on. Why do the CB guys still insist on dealing with sweep tube garbage. Minimum tube these days is a 3-500. Step out of the 20th century and get into the 21st.

The fact remains they let the sweep tubes die in ham amps.
