An NOS relay will probably work just fine. If it's cheaper, it makes sense to go that way.

We only came up with the substitute board when the prices we were seeing for the original got out of hand.

Bargains do go by on Ebay.

Just gotta act before they go away.

Going to replace the diodes and 2905 transistors the two relays or one and the jumper, that was cool..the 47uf cap what else ? Is this where the signal diode is located?

This is just an example of how to get by with just one of these relays. The receive signal and your barefoot-standby transmit power both go through this jumper. Would be going through the preamp relay if it works. And that's the reason to bypass it, when it starts to cut out.

It also saves me the trouble of changing relay that was working
