PALOMAR 350Z ON/OFF POWER SWITCH HELP

Update. Fortunately the eBay company that I purchased the rocker switches for the 350Z cancelled my order. Two switches originally cost me $13.99. I purchased a set of four switches for $16.96. if anyone's looking for those rocker switches that work with the Palomar 90, and 350Z just use loosecannons link to eBay. It's listed above in his reply. They sell single switches for $9 and change (free shipping.) According to my tracking information they should be here by the 9th. But I wouldn't be surprised if I receive them by the 6th. The 350Z is a excellent amplifier for my FS 2340. It just made a perfect match. With 2 watt dead key and 17 pep, I was seeing 170 dead key and 500 pep (after over coupling) on both my autek WM1's. With the 2340, unamplified d104 and Demco modulator (@ 10 o'clock) I got excellent audio reports. I don't know why the 350Z has such a bad reputation. After it was recapped and forgive me if I'm not explaining the modification correctly but apparently the sweep tubes oin the 350z pulled voltage/amperage even when the amp wasn't being keyed. There was some sort of modification that had something to do with the B+ (relay) and that apparently stops the tubes from drawing amperage or voltage until the amplifier is keyed. Thus lowering the excessive heat the Palomar 350Z is known for and saving the tubes from a short-lived life. A great CB amp imo. When I use the word great it's only in comparison to the other sweep tube 11 CB radio amplifiers produced around that same time period. I was using the triple stage Phantom with the 2340 originally. Unfortunately the Phantom developed an issue that will be addressed shortly. That's why I replaced it with the 350Z. The fact that the Phantom only gives me a bit less than 300 watts more is enough for me to leave the 350Z inline even after the Phantom is repaired. The 350z takes up less space and weighs at least 10 pounds less. The tuning knobs on the 350Z are smoother than butter. Out of the 5 sweep tube amps I own the 350Z has the smoothest tuning of any of the other four amplifiers. It actually Tunes up smoother than any amplifier I've ever tuned. I don't know if they all this way, and it's a design feature, or the person who refurbished it did something in order for the tuning to be so smooth and sensitive. I can literally tune all four knobs for max smoke in about 10 seconds. The only issue I had with the 350Z was the rocker switch which controls the power on/off finally took a dump. I would say that's not so bad for a switch that's about 40 years old. I will definitely let you guys know how everything went after I install the switch. And if I need any help I will definitely reach out to you loose cannon. I appreciate everyone who responded. Thanks for your time and help. 73
