Get some NRA smallbore targets, or shoot at aspirins and empty casings.
Got some .22 targets here somewhere. Been so long now I can't remember where I put them. Forget aspirins. They tend to be a little hard to see with snow in the background. LOL
Nothing funner than 22 plinking. At least the hoarders lightened up to where 22's are somewhat cheaper and obtainable. It was rough for awhile. I scraped the price tags off a few bricks I bought so I wasn't reminded how much I paid.
Mud , Yup ! After that BS W/ ammo , I reload now & I'm well stocked in 22 cal . 
I love plinking also ! Sitting here trying to think how many guns I have in that caliber ? At least 6 ? My favorite is & old Single Shot Stevens that's been through my friends garage fire . Took it apart , gave it a good cleaning , put it in my gun vise & test fired it w/ a string on the trigger . Gave it a flat black paint job , Gun still shoots awesome .
