Try using a polarizing lens.
Oh yeah....I would never be without one now that I have seen the light. The same image shot first without a polarizer and the second shot is with one.

I took these a couple years ago near what is called Balancing Rock Long Island Digby County Nova Scotia. In the second shot you can see into the water better, the seaweed floating can be seen better and even the clouds over the land in the distance can be see better. It will also eliminate the glare from a window or windshield making the difference between seeing nothing but glare or looking like there is no glass even present.
It really makes a huge difference on water or even on grassland. I have taken many shots in the past of hay fields with the grass looking almost gray from the glare off of it. Switch the polarizer inline and it appears a nice deep green as it should be. I am going to Jamaica in February and the polarizer will be indispensable for pictures anywhere near the beach or heavily forested areas.
I have always liked that lady - She is on my top 3 performers list.View attachment 14099 View attachment 14092 View attachment 14096 View attachment 14093 Couple of shots, I captured little earlier this year
