No mechanical. Not audible, just sent that to them they will get chuckle.
The power company came out with their hand held RF detector and checked my lines no problem there . They went down street and found some RF coming from a dead headed line from another power company coming down partial way of my street but would not use RF detector on pot growers house they said they could not do that but no reason why. He said he was still going to talk to their engineering staff more about this problem as it is happening more and more lately. I will wait a few more weeks and then issue another complaint to them about RF noise. I still am hoping to get a MFJ1026 but not enough mad money to do that yet. Thanks 2315 Robert for your input.
Talk to the FCC if the power company will not check the growers house. The power company is not a law enforcement agency. The FCC does not need a warrant to read a noisy location, just need a warrant to search the premises for the noise generating equipment.
Agreed. When all should be done as far as harvest 7dbs of noise occillatiing.hamering my reciever. Not liking this. Crazy sweeps of the rx needle. The sound is like gravel(crunchy like someone eating grapenuts). Not static more like a transformer hum with gravel.
