power max powersupplies

ok well that answers that question. the IOTA DLS-90 i had was fine no spurious emissions that i noticed on all forty channels or uppers too so maybe ill look for a used iota or just bite the bullet and buy a new one

Mine did well for almost 2 years then produced hash, I am trying to get it replaced. I also had a buzz when I keyed the mic, dont what that is about. Thought it was RF getting into it but now that I have the hash I think it was defective from the start.

 Um, that's a totally different problem, Greg!

Brett

PS no probs with either of the two Iota's I bought several years back. Ran them together to power a TS500 for a couple of years, now powering my IC-718 with no RF hash. And I don't have a buzz, either. :D

I think they are hit or miss. Ya takes your chances. Just keep receipt for return or warranty. I'll never try any of them again.

I'm staying linear.

Ok here it goes and you can take it for what you think its worth, I use these for my amateur radio portable setups and will have all 3 benches at home setup with these aswell. I absolutely lve these as thbere is no noise hash or trash at all I did extensive research before teying these and will never go to anything else!! Im truly amazed at the whisper quiet fan and small size opf these units. Im actually looking into a few more as I said and I am going to start using these in base radios like The high power Galaxy and RCI rigs as a reliable replacements Im also going to use one of the 40 ampers in another base radio and add a built in amplifer as a project play toy ;)

If I wasnt confident in these I certainly wouldnt post these units as an option for your use. They really honestly are super units. http://www.12voltpowersupplies.us/
