Put in the same way the factory did. I'm sure they did a thermal study on which way would work best.
Well, the fan is on the p/s, but yes, I never understood the upside down heat sink. I guess maybe if you mount it under a dash or cabinet it would work on the bottom better, but I'm working on installing fans, as the Shooting Star gets pretty warm with a few minutes of conversation. The TX250 didn't get as warm, but warm. Maybe I need to dig out my IR thermometer and take a couple readings.Well we are talking about cb amplifiers here.
