Power supply's

We know that, but which ones? How to boost voltage to 13+ ?
Can they be wired in parallel or series and how?
Good documentation counts for something.

The Megawatts seem to have documentation. They can be parallel easily. I've owned two of them. They both started spitting hash. Off they went....

Hopefully Megawatts quality has come up the last 5 years.
I has an s-1200 back in 2015. Apparently these units had a issue with blowing rectifiers as mine did and never bought another. I also found it to be somewhat noisy in my receive. Never been much of a fan of switching supplies because of that.

They say now new and improved
I have three of those, and abuse them terribly. I have used them to remove rust from tower sections and some car parts. They were outside in the summer running 24/7 for ten days in a row with to the no failures. I was running these max and they still work good. I bought two of these in 2013 and another in 2014 and still not a whimper.

So am I correct believing seller us2us2

is the megawatt seller on ebay?

Yes to going straight to that. Quick shipping. I've got two of the S-400-12's and one S-700-12.

I recently zapped one of the S-400-12's by pulling too much from it on an amplifier that was too big for it. Not the power supply's fault but my fault. Turned the amp on High, talking DX, overheated the PS and it quit. o_O Dumb @$$

Ok so I ordered a 50a today and will give these guys another try. I seem to remember being told the s1200 was discontinued because they had issues with it when I emailed them for replacement parts. Never did fix it.
