Base: My main setup is a Ten-Tec Jupiter 538 driving an Ameritron ALS-600. AM - 100W DK swinging to 500W; SSB 600W.

Mobile: Galaxy DX77HML driving a MagnaForce 350. AM - 100W DK swinging to 400W; SSB 600W+ PEP.

Simular setup to most people here.
Galaxy 99v and a 500 watt texas star run at about 200 watts.
Used mostly for A.M. only. I use my Kenwood for SSB work. Just seems to do the job better with less drift.

I used to run big watts in my mobile but, now I'm just a barefoot boy. With CB popularity being a lot less than it used to be I can get 10-25 mile range out in the country with NO extra power and the alternators on the pic-em-up last longer.

Run a Magna 350 in the truck. 100 watt DK 400 pep. Base either run my 95T alone or drive my SB 200 with it. Run it at about 150 DK. 700 or 800 pep.

I got the Texas Star 400 at home and run the Elite Line 5500 in my mobile which does pretty goo but I want to get it up to a KW at home.
Before the Galaxy 1000 blew a tube that thing was a lot of fun.
