where has the site gone to buy these?? is kale still making them?? i went to predator10kdiscountantennas.com and one other the sitesd dont exist anymore?? nolw i caN goto bobscb ,bells, clays ,ect ..just wondering what was up

yes you both asre correct but i was asking about
predator10kdiscountantennas.com they had all shafts n replacement parts
yes bells, clays, gijoes, bobcb , and many others carry them too

No telling why this site isn't around any longer.I never saw the Predator Puck mount. As with Gunny puck, neither are around.

nothing returned on Google search and Kale hasn't logged in here in something like 5 years. However, many vendors offer them.
My question about the Predator antennas is which will tune out to be the longest.
Also I saw a wholesaler offering a 3" shaft but that was for dealer purchase Haven't seen that offered yet. Sounds interesting

In my humble opinion the single coil antenna with a 27 inch shaft works the best.
I have run several of his antennas and this one has always worked well.
Somewhere on this forum there was testing done many years ago and the 22 inch and 27 inch single coils came out on top.

His machine work and finish is top notch and for about 85 bucks they are a good value.
I have not talked to him in a long time but as far as I know he is still building antennas.

I purchased one last year from a vender. I got a hold of Kale to find out which antenna was best for my application. I had no problem contacting him. It was sept. Or oct. Of 2018.

I concur. I have the 27" one. A friend has a shorter one. I also swear mine is more resistant to static and junk on receive.

FWIW, ran mine installed on the center of the roof of a 2002 Explorer for years and never had any issues. Antenna never got damaged and never took out any trees or structures. Puck mount with a recycled circular saw blade under the roof's sheetmetal, for extra stability. Couldn't drive through at a restaurant, of course!

my antenna is a K2-6 it is not much longer than my wilson 2000. so I should not get in much trouble going under silos. I promise I will get it on this week and post findings.
