Do you have any idea of the
modification ?

Not without further exploratory surgery on the patient - but what I see reminds me of the old Emperor TS-5010 had similar "Battery backup" - or Pacemaker - keep alive issues - so this looks to be some kind of mod for the original "cap" that was keeping the Chip alive as well as the chips own non-volatile memory (NVRAM) failed they somehow rigged this to keep the memory alive so the radio was still keeping last channel and CB mode operational.

Which one is the TDA1905 chip ?

Back in ancient times - when equipment sold at Large Stores that called themselves "K-Mart" or Circuit City - sold equipment you could mount in car dashboards - they called them Radios - and DIN and Double DIN which meant the SIZE of the radio that could be installed in your vehicle - back then.

Nowadays - it's easier to throw away the car once the battery dies - for the cost of repairs to fix the new dashboards and the support equipment - Kmart and the like aren't around anymore - neither is Kraco...

What does this have to do with the TDA1905 chip? They used similar chips in these Radios to power the speakers you had installed in the doors.

The TDA1905 is essentially a 16Pin DIP IC with 1/2 (or whole side) of pins used for heat sink power dissipation - they installed a J-shaped Copper (cooper? No Pooper? - well maybe...) spreader to act as a heat sink to cool it.
