President Washington

Just picked up a used President Washington Base station, it has extra channels and is SSB too.

Are these good radios? I am going to take it to the local CB shop to have them look it over.

no they are junk radio u better send it over here, i'll take it off ur hands..nawww.. they are a very good radio.. pretty much the same as a 142... very good talking radios..

Some locals run them, sound good. One has a 2995, his Washington sounds better.

Ok first of they washington is a good radio with the right tune job on it.

And for the second question the 2995 is refering to the ranger 2995dx, which is a export radio that can be converted to be used on the cb band.

Well I am looking forward to getting it hooked up, I need to get it tested first to see if it is ok, then get a bse antenna
