Quick question...


For the short-short term, no. I just wouldn't expect a butt splice would hold up very long in the wind.

Way better off making a couple wraps with each end and soldering it if your not going to replace it.

It'll still carry the RF currents either way. Remember, RF currents flow on the top of the wire not through it.
