Hello everyone, I’ve been out of the hobby for about 10-11 years now and just starting to get back into it. I’ve always done some of the work myself on my radios as far as echo boards, noise toys Roger beeps, channel displays etc. where are all the DIY guys, cb shops, amp builders etc sourcing parts? I remember eBay being flooded with stuff like that and now it seems hard to come now. Are they a thing of the past or am I not searching hard enough

Not as it was a decade ago as many sellers migrated to other platforms as their continuous fees dipped heavily into profits.

But there's still plenty of accessoriesnon the bay. It's all about the key words in the search.

Unfortunately this hobby is not what it was 5-15 years ago. Prices on E-bay are now ridiculous and covid destroyed many supply chains. As an example look at Texas Star amplifiers and parts. Barkett electronics used to have tons of parts, today they are out of stock on most items. Used to be 20-30 Texas Star amps for sale on eBay at any time. Now your lucky if there are3-4.
