Radio Shack

I got my first modern 2 meter radio from the shack ,a HTX 212 and its still going strong. Had several diffrent electronics from rs that were great.
Pro 94 and 95 n 2046 scanners that still work great. Wish they were still like they used to be

That HTX-212 was actually a Kenwood TM-231 that was rebadged for Radio Shack. Good preforming radios they were.

My HTX212 is still running to this day as simplex echolink node. We set it up for some guys who moved out of state so they could in touch with their 2meter friends. Its been online for years. Before that I used it in a mobile and sometimes would forget to take the magmount out of the trunk before yacking on the repeater. The thing wont die.

My Pro 2026 scanner still working fine scanning the local vhf public fire dispatch.
DX440 still cranking out the tunes and shortwaves in my garage.
