Lemme think, gave a person here a fixer upper layfette base station he paid baggage but was happy, then i gave a dark vader a baofeng.he then returned the kindness n sent me a scanner. So riverman all is cool savvy?
hey riverman we both did our RAOK, were IS our lollipops?Hey I forgot about that... I did do a RAOK, where’s my friggin’ lollipop?
But i gave that layfayette base to another guy who asked,i said pay baggage n its yoursOh, no...wait a minute. I think you said it best, you gave me that radio and then I sent you that scanner. That’s premeditated so it’s not random.

no you gave very generously.Ok so just me sucks. Happy now?
Sadly, this idea/thread turned out to be the biggest waste of space since, well, you know.
Some ideas take time to root.
Stony soil.
Some RAOK are (and will be) anonymous in nature.
“ . . but when you (do an act out of kindness), let not your left hand know what your right hand is doing so that your giving may he in secret”
We were taught it’s the act of kindness — not the recognition —which is our store in Heaven.
So, wordsmith, pithily reconcile the two, please.
Unstopper the bottle.

Read any thread and it's pretty evident that we members don't always agree.
But one thing I think most of us can agree on is that doing something nice for someone else feels really good. Like many, I sometimes pay for my meal and the person's behind me in a fast-food drive-thru. It's not much; usually an extra five or six dollars, but that's a cheap price to pay for spreading joy.
On that note, I propose we members perform Random Acts of Kindness for each other. Here's how:
Most likely many of you have ham or CB equipment lying around that you are not using for one reason or another and have no plans for. And there's probably someone somewhere who could really use it. So how about listing it in the Ham or CB Swapshop for shipping cost only? Or for free. A length of coax. Some connectors. A homemade antenna. Anything related to the hobby. New or used. Big or small. You'll be cleaning out your clutter and making someone's day at the same time. Can't beat that!
I suggest typing RAK in the title so readers will know it's a Random Act of Kindness listing.
Sometime today I'll kick it off with one of my own.
Thanks, everybody. Have a great day!
