I have a CRT SS FORCE ONE. I do believe this is the only one of these in the United States. It was given to me by a former employer. They were doing inventory and came across this radio and the owner started raising hell. It was supposed to be sent back to the manufacturer as part of a laws suit.
It is AM/FM only and plays MP3's from a thumb drive. I hooked it up on the test bench but never connected it to an antenna.
It has ECHO built in, might be the reason I never used it.

My box does not have the Statue of Liberty on the box. CRT had been contacted to design and build this radio for a company here in the USA. They jumped the gun and sent about 500 to the USA.
499 were sent back.
I have no proof of the lawsuit but that is what I was told.

not a rare radio but i have a battle scarred tek hr 3950,,,i have repainted the covers in a wrinkle paint and wished i could come up with a replacement button for one that is missing,,,, it is no power house and nothing really special about it but there is nothing on the net but a few pictures and a line on the banned radios list,,,,easy conversion to 11 meters,, just open cover and flip the switch,,,,

Sorry joker, you can’t post pics of it? You know how I like pics and pop-up books.

1) While not very difficult to find, I have a Superstar 3900 Turbo ZX in gold. It's very similar to a Galaxy 88 and is one of the best exports I've ever owned.

2) Virage VX68. For sake of sharing with you all, just now I tried to dig up more info on the actual radio that I owned. All I can find is an email from Sparky back in March of 2005 confirming that I received it in the mail. He and I spoke at length on the phone to make the deal. For all I know he is here in the forum reading this! According to him, this radio was an attempt to get a real ten meter rig onto the market, and thus had some internal assembly left incomplete. For instance, the band switch on mine had nothing but bare contacts inside the radio, no old solder, nothing. Some other things were strange about it. As I recall there was a prototype run made and each radio was unique as each had a different level of assembly. How accurate any of that is, is anyone's guess!

I don,t think this is all that rare but I don't see this for sale on E-bay or any place that I look for radio,s on.It,s the OPTIMA MK 3 i got it new and it,s the 1st export I,v ever had and it,s a fine radio. It work,s & look,s like new to this very day.

I have a Robyn SX 402D 40 channel CB radio that I bought as a project.
Not to many of them around.
It was a basket case when I got it.
Picked up the owners and service manual from Kens Electronics.
I replaced most of the electrolics in it and aligned the radio.
TX and RX is decent.
It has 1 segment out in the display and parts are rare as hens teeth.
It is a cool old radio because it has a BFO that allows you to tune in and receive SSB signals.
I put it on the shelf a couple years ago and it has now wound up in storage with a few other projects that I will " some day" get back to.
Ya.
Here is a picture of what it looks like but the actual radio is in a box in storage.
Someday.
I doubt I will ever find a replacment channel display........
