Rarest cb / export you’ve owned

I have an almost mint condition Courier Tradesman that was supposedly never powered up until after I received it. I don’t believe they’re real rare, you can find the manual on CB tricks, but you may wait years to find one on Ebay. After all, who wants a 4 channel crystal controlled radio? This was Courier’s early introduction into solid state. It was made during the period when a few channels above 23 were allocated just for business purposes. At that time you needed to complete a special business band application to use it legally. The manual states you could order one from the factory anywhere from 26.620 to 35.98 mhz. I left the tag on mine showing it came with a set of ch27 crystals. Shortly after I got tired of monitoring ch27, I tried a pair of ch19 crystals. I have plenty of those in stock, but only the 27.185 transmit crystal was on frequency. A 26.730mhz crystal is used on ch19 for receive on most sets, that’s 455khz down. This oddball needed a crystal that’s 455khz up. Yep, I special ordered one anyway. It cost me $35. That’s more than I paid for the radio, but I occasionally enjoy using these unwanted old crystal paired radio sets. BTW It has great sounding mic along with its original cord. Truly a quality piece that’s standing the test of time.

DAK MARK X - not rare but IMHO it's the prettiest CB ever made.

Shockwave , I don't know what it was about that little TRC-9 that I paid $29 for new I believe , but I always got a lot of comments on how good the modulation was . I never touched it ! Back then all I really knew how to do was solder mic wires & change Xtal's !

I would say 1 of my HR2600s with the Chipswitch in it with a chip serial number 123456. No joke! I just happen to buy a parts radio on the bay and bingo! Transplanted that chip into a fully recapped and voltage regulator upgraded unit.

No exports in my inventory ever.

But my Cherokee AH100 SSB walkie talkies seem to be a rare breed. I've seen a few on E-bay, but I've never run into anyone else that owns one nor have I ever talked on the radio to anyone else using one.
