RCI 69 BASE PLUS peak n tune

Hi all.. I just picked up a rci 69 Base plus plus
Found the 11 meter mod..
Trying to fund peak n tune adjustment n procedure.
Any one have any info
Thank You
Did you receive the current Owner's Manual for manual for the Plus Plus? My Plus Plus came with the manual for the "Plus" and the specs are not the same because the RF Power output on the Plus Plus is more than the Plus. The fans are sort of noisy when the radio is at an idle.

FYI
I use a DELTA M2 microphone. Tone set @ #5 and Modulation set @ 5 and Mic Gain on the radio set @ 12 o'clock. Obviously, you need a 6 to 4 pin mic plug adapter. I favor the Delta M2 because a battery is not required. Upper and Lower sideband transmit and receive were "way-out" of specs from the factory.

Got the socalled manual.. Don't tell you much.. Yes the fans are noisey.. OK during receiving but the Mic picks them up very easily.. Considering changing them for quiet computer grade muffin fans..

So other then the 69 Base plus ++ only showing 80 watts mid band witch I can live with at low power below 10 watts the TX audio gets extremely fusy staticly.. Anyone have this issue?

How effective can the dual fans be with the 3-inch-high aluminum plate blocking the path for heat to escape? There is a heat sink behind the finals and the power supply has a fan. I don't get it. The fans are always on.
