For today's LSB 16 efforts, I'm running my 1981 Realistic TRC 490 with a Turner Super sidekick driving my Starduster clone. It is a 100% untweaked, barefoot set up. Let's see how it does.

So far, LSB 16 is quiet and there isn't much coming on LSB 38 either. With this cold weather, folks all across the country will be staying indoors. Let's hope the propagation picks up and give them a chance to make some contacts.

It was 8 degrees Fahrenheit in Delaware this morning before the sun came up. Now it's 11.... Big storm front came through yesterday, but all we got was rain. If it is going to be this cold, the least it could do is snow. We used to get big snow here, but in the past few years it has been just about nothing. I really miss the snow.

Wind yesterday was gusting over 50mph, so I tipped my antenna down. Let me get a few cups of coffee in me before I go outside and crank it up and we will see what we have for conditions.

LSB 16 has been pretty quiet this morning. Before the contest was posted, the LSB 16 group had set up a start time for our net of 12:00 noon eastern/11:00A.M. central/9:00A.M. pacific. I'm expecting things to pick up around then.
