Realistic TRC-458 would you pay $80 shipped?

it's a used radio, in working condition, not DOA, 'fully' tested, seller has good feedback[get it before i do. great deal,fine radio channalize it open the clarifier add a PDC256 clarifier and go free banding around the world with it. i have 2 TRC.-458's and will never ever part with them.

I would recommend a front to back alignment on this rig after you get the frequency mods performed.

the clarifier will open up and give you around 6kc of slide usually.

Double check the supply voltage and make sure it is dead on the manual specs. I have sen where some golden screwdrivers will turn up the PS voltage to squeeze every watt they can out of this rig.

Once the receiver is aligned you will "hear" things you never heard before, the receive is that sensitive. And the receive audio is wonderful, I can sit and listen to that rig all day.

It is a great rig, keep it around 12 watts PEP output on SSB and it will serve you for many years to come.
