Recommend Techs For Texas Star Amp Repair?

No confusion on my part, only yours. I know who I was communicating with. We spoke (via email) numerous, numerous times about Texas Star amps and repairing them. He shared a lot of knowledge about the TS amps with me over a period of time.
Same Mike Hawkins. I communicated with him a lot using both email addresses.
He generally replied to me with the texasstarrepair@cox.net email address.
He told me how he had been laid off and then went back to work for them several years later.
You know Ranch, you're correct! It's John that's the owners son. Goes to show you that even doctor prescribed drugs will garble your brain all up. Yes it's Mike and he was laid off now if he's back I didn't know about that. I guess I mixed up John and Mike. Was reading my own reply above and I couldn't understand myself. I ask you fellas to give me a little grace please and my apologies for MY confusion. I'm down on a back injury with doc prescribed meds and maybe I should stay away from here when I'm taking them haha. I'm sorry guys

I have a sweet 16 that is not amplifying.
I hear the relay switching but meter says the same thing with the linear on or off.

I'm gonna guess that the relay you're hearing is the small one towards the rear. That relay serves to turn on the coil in the big relay, near the center opposite the two coax connectors.
Have a look through the plastic enclosure of the big relay and see if it also goes "click" and the mechanism moves in a way that's clearly visible.
If this relay is not being activated, the symptom would be just what you're seeing.
Bad news is that this is typically the fault of the small relay, one contact point going bad.
But if you're really lucky, the wire that leads from the small relay to activate the big one has just come loose.
You hope.
