Removing a variable AM output from a 142GTL

Oh ok, very good then. The NTE-152 is a suitable replacement for the 2SC1419, so that's in good order. Post pics when you can. Thanks!

Everything looks good from the pictures, don't see anything out of place or cut/removed. Remove the two wires at VR6 for starters. Wouldn't hurt to replace the trimmer pot at VR6, as it may have gone fault. Give that a try and let us know how you get on. Thanks!

Update!: Got the Capacitor Kit today and started changing them out. Got eleven done before my eyes decided to take a break.
I'm gonna work on it again after supper Robb, I'll try with the variable again.
