Does anyone have any info on this radio? I really need a schematic, or Sam's number 89. I need to replace these. See pic.
I can't get a decent solder on what's left of the lead. Need to know the value? My guess is they're used for filters. One on positive wire one on negative wire. Before PC board.

First, those look repairable, but if you want new, try the following link. They’re typical RF chokes for the DC power line.

I'm going to try to add just a little onto the short leg. Thanks for that info though. I just barely know enough to get into trouble here.
 
Wrap a small piece of wire all the way around the short leg and be generous with the flux. With a wire wrapped around the leg tightly, capillary action will help draw in the solder.

    So I have a cobra 138xlr and the meter dose not work... It dose not key up and signal dose not work.... It is not stuck it the meter moves freely. now wires are resoldered on both ends...So now that do I look at. Could it be a diode or a transistor?
