That's what im talking about ! Ill hit it with 14.5-16 (on the 75-amp)and we what happens lol . Cant order until this coming Thursday but he told me he can have it to me before Christmas (so nobody knows im blowing money on myself lol)
Ill do a video and pics and we will see how it goes . Ill try just about anything once haha

Maybe I read previous post's incorrectly but I take it that the guy who builds the Rocketbox will also sell it as a kit? This doesn't make sense. If he's trying to build a reputation for quality amps he is shooting himself in the foot by allowing the average Joe to buy a kit and build it. If the quality of "Joe's" work sucks, then the brand name "Rocketbox" will take the hit, hurting his business....

But good point ! Although he could sell them with blank face plates under another name (but that's the soldering iron jockey in me haha)!My fault I explained it but could easily be overlooked ! I asked him if I could purchase the amp as a kit because I have built a modulator and a 2 pill from kits but they were far from complete kits (pain in the ass ebay kit missing tons of shit )!! I thought I would like a shot at a mosfet build !?! He told me he has sold kits in the past but he got them returned with burnt up parts and complaints so now he "assembles" them to order AND DOES NOT SELL KITS (but im still trying to get one lol). I say assemble because I know the typical BBi style builders would not really consider this a "build" per say but I thought it would be a fun project if I could in fact get a complete kit .

Yup and I think its a good way for some of the more novice guys like myself to get a better understanding how the basic circuitry gets laid out and .. well .. amplified lol I like the fact that its not a total "build" per say more of a basic assembly ! As long as people take their time and follow the directions I think it will be a good experience ! I'm glad my finances got too tight to order one up now I will feel better knowing I got to assemble it myself ! Learning is power (or whatever GI Joe used to say lol )
I spoke to Rocket on FB he is still having trouble logging in here but he will be joining us on the forums so I guess we will see how it goes !

The kit looks interesting. I was hoping that the bigger amp kits would be available.
Pretty sure if this run goes well you will be able to buy all models in kit form . BC the 500 and the 1000 boards are multi purpose platforms I thing he just wants to see how this goes first ! The question was asked on FB about the HD500 Rocket just said " OK but its going to be a lot harder " lol I am going to start small and build this lil guy for the truck and see how it goes !
