Say goodbye to "The Beeb".

And I found another frequency that might be interesting to listeners in North America where they can listen to the BBC World Service. It is frequency 9410 KHz and it is on from 03:00 to 04:00 UTC.
I found out that it is coming from the BBC transmitter in England and the signal is intended for Europe but you can pick it up in North America with a good radio with varying success.
With DRM (Digital Radio Mondiale) shortwave radio becoming more widely available we may see a return of BBC transmissions to North America sometime in the future. It costs broadcasters a fraction of the cost and power to broadcast in DRM than it does with regular shortwave.
