Screw down stakes field day

im looking for something like these:

I got a really nice 5' tripod and a 7' pole and my 10m 20' mono-band antenna i am looking for what is pictured above or something iv seen before but i dont remember where, there chrome in color and look a lot like those 2' stakes for the yard to tie down your dog in the yard..... im not sure what there called exactly?

aw man, GROUND ANCHORS! found em locally Flexible Flyer Swing Set Ground Anchor Kit - Walmart.com

im going to use Paracord as guy wire as CK said guy (real) wire causes variation in the patter of the antenna

I was in Home Depot today and they had the top two of those anchors for sale in the rope & chain section.

I believe CK said they MAY cause or CAN cause not that they WILL cause. :tongue:

Yea correct. But I asked a few hams locally and they all said the same thing you said so I reworded it but you did say it "might"

Yeah, that's just me. I don't like absolutes unless it is a guaranteed 100%. Paying attention to how I word things has saved my ass several times. :laugh:
