I'm using it to hold up my inverted V dipole with no insulators, just tied the cord right to my wire, words great. The only problem you have to look out for is shrinkage when it gets wet and then dries, I have
to adjust it from time to time.
Well thought I would give you guys an update. The antenna is still in the same position but we resauldered the connectors although they seemed to be ok to begin with. But the big difference was getting rid of the loop of coax (balun) at the antenna and just leaving it hang as it should. Managed to get my swr down to 1.5 on ch. 1 and 40. So I can deal with that.
Thanks everyone for all the suggestions. First time for me trying a dipole antenna. So it was a learning curve. Now I'm just waiting for some conditions to see how well the DSB will do.
