Signal Splitter

Has anyone ever used one of those Cable Tv Signal Splitters to run Multiple Antennas of 1 antenna ? Not that I don't have enough Scanner Antenna's ( 3 , 2 in use ) . I just have different Scanners all over the place . The one in my garage doesn't receive that well . Besides I'm getting lazy in my old age & don't want to start making cables , running coax & drilling holes unless it's worth it . Thanks ! Stay Healthy & Safe ! 73 & God Bless ! Leo

It would work, but there is a few db loss when you use one.

It was just a thought . But while cleaning out Her Dad's house , I did find & inline signal booster . It wouldn't let me delete the post after I made it sooo... Nothing Ventured , Nothing Gained. Just " Might " give it a shot . Stay Healthy & Safe ! 73 & God Bless . Leo

Ive run scanners off my TV antenna system for years. Works fine.
There is going to be loss because TV is 75ohm and the scanners are 50. But its still way better then the antenna on the back of scanner inside.

I use a powered TV splitter to feed my two scanners and don't notice much if any difference in signal strength.
