One afternoon many years ago, a friend of mine called and said he had a new boat and would be by in a minute to pick me up for an affernoon at the lake. When he arrived I walked out, took one look at the boat and died laughing. It was a small Glastron with a new Mercury Black Max 200 H.P. Motor (largest on the market at the time) attached to it. The motor was taller than me.
Upon closer inspection, according to its seal the boat was Coast Guard rated rated for a maximum of 75 H.P. This was evident once we had it in the water. Because of the motor's tremendous weight, the boat sat at a 45 degree angle with its nose pointed toward the sky. Somehow my friend managed to convince me to climb aboard assuring me he would be able to trim it out level once we were underway.
And he did. But all I remember about that ride was screaming and pleading with him to slow down at least enough that we remained in contact with the water.
Now, all these years later, this thread reminds me of that boat and motor. Pretty sure most readers have the information they need after the first couple of pages.

Yeah I think we got the picture but I find it entertaining and the more info on this snake oil guy,the better. Maybe it will save someone from wasting there money with this clown.
Speaking of boats I got a redneck friend of mine who loves everything fast and loud. Anyway he's got a speed boat with a 383 stroker built for speed. Man that was some fun and scary times out on the lake. That boat is crazy fast. I remember times I wasn't sure we were going to make it back to shore alive,hahaha good times. I don't see my buddy too often anymore and I don't think he's been on the lake in a couple years or so.

LOL. Sounds like my friend and yours would hit it off.
My buddy always had to have the fastest motorcycle available off the showroom floor. Regardless of the manufacturer. Was trading up constantly. Still that way today and that was 45 years ago!
