Snapped Super Magnum Antenna

Speaking of forks, try placing one on the nail or screw in the wall to make it easy to hang a picture wire over...

I could take the enameled copper windings off. I was wondering how to take that broken tube out of the aluminum. Any ideas ? What type of glue can I use to attach the new phenolic tube I ordered ?

Either epoxy or E6000 may work for adhesive.
Use hole saw blades in diminishing sizes on a drill press to remove the stump. Maybe use a multi tool to cut pieces away, then grind out the residue with a spiral tool like the Dremel.
If you don't have those tools use a drill and bore a series of holes into it from the upper broken edge and then chisel it away with a wood chisel.
If that fails put peanut butter on it and borrow a rodent, maybe a beaver...

Phenolic tube finally arrived Exact fit. Now I am wondering what kind of glue strong enough I am going to use which won’t damage ( oxidize )the aluminum housing with time.

Next thing I have to do is to get the dimensions of the capacity hat. Mine is missing. If anyone can give me that info, is welcome.

I read on other forum that if I miss the capacity hat, antenna would be 10” longer.

By the way, The so called “ sati-lite” tip really reduce static noise as stated by Antenna Specialist ?
