Not sure if this is the new normal but mine came with this.

I have not had more time since it arrived 2 days ago to see if it comes with a software disk or anything else.

In the past I thought you had to pay extra for this?

What's crazier is that they're coming with those little 3.5" mini disks ..... like who has a minidisk drive on their desk? Why they couldn't supply a full sized disk ..... who knows? Cheapness?

The one I bought came with the program cable, and I downloaded the S/W from their website.

There was a time when I was burning mini CD-R disks. I wanted to try something different, but my interest didn’t last long. I must say they were more convenient to ship. I remember that I always had to make sure the mini was removed before a full sized disk was placed in the tray. Otherwise grinding and rattling sounds occurred during spin up. This usually resulted in scratched disk, followed by using a paperclip tool to release the damaged disks. Those little buggers like to hide….

I dealt with those program disks. Often, the program version on them is older than what you can download from the manufacture.
